At IndexR we are passionate about the NHS and our doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. Its a tricky time for our NHS Trusts. Demand for staff outweighs the supply, and balancing the fat-cat agency fees for in-demand doctors and nurses is getting harder, especially with the constraints of the budgets imposed on Trusts.

Our innovative, disruptive solution helps readdress the balance by removing agency fees and saving money for the NHS Trusts to redirect into training and staff retention.

You’ll be working alongside the CEO, our Co-Founder and our Development team in the early stages of our exciting startup. We have a product that is already going through final pilot tests within an NHS Trust and we have funding to expand and grow. This will be an amazing learning experience and adventure, as we iterate and grow the business from pilot to post-seed funding.

–––Role & Responsibilities–––

Marketing – content writing, emails and going to healthcare staffing conferences to spread the word.

Admin & Research – there’ll be on-boarding and vetting checks on each Locum we sign up, and research on Locums, Trusts, Private Healthcare, events and more.

Community happiness – making sure our Locums and Trust love us, and dealing with the challenges that arise in a startup with a new product.

Biz Dev – Signing up Locums, and thinking outside the box to build the right partnerships with both Trusts and Locums.

As with most startups there’s lots more to do and it’s really up-to how fast you learn, how motivated you are, what you are good at and what you’re interested in when it comes to shaping your future with us!

Empathetic & good communicator – we’re dealing with NHS Trusts and Locum Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals, so this is a must. You should be comfortable meeting new people, and not afraid to be yourself, happy and smile a lot!

Fast learner – You should be ready to try new things out, and learn as you go…. growing from your mistakes and always open to new ideas along with offering them.

Organised & procedural – we need the type of person who has a beautifully tidy room, and loves colour coding your notes. 😉

Flexible and motivated – we don’t work the same hours everyday, and we don’t work in the same place all the time. We just care about getting things done, in an adult way. We need a fexible attitude to startup demands with occasional travel across the UK as we launch regionally.

Committed to making a positive impact – you need to believe in what we do. Live, breathe and talk it. Our disruption iin this market is for the good of so many people. Just thought we’d emphasise this one!

You’ll mainly be working to grow IndexR from the ground up – alongside the CEO, with advice from another co-founder Zahid and almost daily interaction with our development and SEO team. There will be moments of joy and moments of despair on this journey, and we’ll learn so much along the way – about business and ourselves.

–––Compensation Details–––

£1,625 per month, with flexible working hours. £19,500 Pro-rata.

This opportunity is an initial internship with the hope of you joining us permanently afterwards; we want you to grow with us as we build this startup, regionally across the UK!
